Victoria Voxxx, Future Country Music Star?
Vicky, but she prefers to be called Victoria (Victoria Voxxx), wants to become a country music star. She already composes and performs her own songs, but like many aspiring artists, she still lacks visibility. To get her first stage experience, she contacts Rob (Chad Alva), the owner of a bar/restaurant where many truckers stop to rest and eat while listening to local artists. Mary seems like a good person, and the two women hit it off immediately. A Simple Encounter Can Change a Life
That evening, on Mary's advice, Victoria visits Rob to try to learn more about him and his past career. He explains to her that despite all the positive things music can bring to life, success and fame can also break families and careers. Faced with Victoria's insistence, he still offers to support her as much as he can to help her succeed.
According to Mary, Rob's business is not doing well, and he is struggling to make ends meet. Fortunately for him, a large convoy of truckers is expected to stop in town soon, which should help him replenish the coffers a bit. A few days later, Mary invites Victoria to a girls' picnic with her friend Tara (Queenie Sateen), who is also a composer and singer.
